What happens during a consultation?
During the consultation, we'll identify the cause of your issue by examining your scalp and gathering information from you. If needed, we might perform a microscopic examination of your hair or analyze its mineral content. We may also recommend specific blood tests for a more thorough evaluation.
After diagnosing the issue, we'll explain the cause and discuss the best course of action, whether it involves topical treatments, internal treatments, or a referral to a specialist.
We collaborate with a range of experts, including general practitioners, endocrinologists, dermatologists, and psychotherapists. Additionally, we can provide guidance on hair transplantation and hair care.
Mineral analysis
Hair Mineral Analysis
Hair mineral analysis measures the concentrations of minerals such as zinc, copper, manganese, iodine, chromium, lead, mercury, aluminum, cadmium, and arsenic. These mineral levels can indicate imbalances or nutritional deficiencies that may be impacting your hair and skin health.
The analysis requires untreated hair, which means hair that has not undergone any chemical treatments. Typically, samples are cut from the lower back portion of the scalp and sent to a laboratory for testing.
